Who we are

The Australian Childcare Alliance is the national peak body that represents, advocates for, informs and promotes quality early learning services throughout Australia. 

We are a not-for-profit, member-funded organisation supporting and advocating for privately owned long day care centres.

We're proud to represent over 3,000 members representing over 4,500 early learning services, employing over 75,000 educators and caring for more than 360,000 families throughout Australia.

Our five ACA State Bodies offer an extensive range of support services to our valued members. 

Benefits of ACA membership

When you become an ACA member, you join our supportive network, gaining access to a range of services and expert advice that will assist you in providing high-quality Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC).

At the national level, we advocate on your behalf by frequently engaging with the federal government, presenting a proactive voice for ECEC services through the media and actively drawing attention to those critical issues impacting our members.  We also provide regular updates on the latest news in our sector.

At the state level we offer advocacy on your behalf with the relevant state governments, access to networking and professional development opportunities via our events, expert policy, business and industrial relations support, regular sector news updates and member-exclusive discounts on suppliers to the ECEC sector.
