Understanding the WRP Annual Declaration Form

What is it?

The WRP Annual Declaration Form forms part of the mandatory reporting requirements for grant recipients. It provides the Department with information on how you have acquitted WRP funding and more.

It asks for information on the below key areas:

  • Expenditure of grant funding thus far 
  • Total expenditure on wages and on-costs 
  • Your eligible ECEC workers
  • Compliant Workplace Instrument coverage 

When do I submit it?

The form needs to be completed and returned to the Department by 9 October 2025 (note that this can only be done by the person with management or control (PMC) with authority to sign on behalf of the Grantee).

What financial information will it ask me for?

The form will ask you to provide reporting on 3 main categories. If you have multiple services, you must provide this information for each of your services. 

 The following financial information will be asked of you:

  1. Total 2023-24 financial year expenditure on worker wages and on-costs 
  2. Total 2024-25 financial year expenditure on worker wages and on-costs
  3. Total amount of grant funds expended on worker wages and on-costs up to 30 June 2025

It will also ask for details of on any fee increases that may have taken place in your service (s).

Important to note
  • You must ensure the information provided is accurate and can be supported by documentary evidence, should the department request it.
  • You must also ensure that the form has been completed and submitted by the Person with Management or Control (PMC) (i.e. the person with authority to sign on behalf of the grantee).
